CAST
BIOGRAPHY Ian MICHIE understudy to Al/Jonesy: was educated in Edinburgh. After leaving Univerity he worked mainly in television and his credits include Brookside; Bergerac; Tumbledown; Scoop and Dutch Girls. Ian later formed his own theatre company with Martin Clunes and Paul Brennen and appeared in the highly acclaimed adaptation of Martin Sillitoe¹s The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner. He has also produced and directed a radio series, Ten Pounds And A Box Of Kippers, for BBC Radio 4. Recently Ian appeared in stand up comedy as the character Njonjo Mwangi at the Hackney Empire and The Edinburgh Festival. Theatre credits include Hamlet; Amadeus; Post Mortem and Racing Demon. |
